OIOS: Under-Secretary-General for Internal Oversight Services, New York
Background
In accordance with General Assembly resolution 48/218 B, the Under-Secretary General for Internal Oversight Services shall be appointed by the Secretary General, following consultations with Member States, and approved by the General Assembly, with due regard for geographic rotation for one fixed term of five years without possibility of renewal.
