Joint Efforts for a Green future: Evaluation on Finland's development cooperation in environment and sustainable use of natural resources, and private sector opportunities - Volume 1 Synthesis Report

This independent evaluation examined how Finland’s development cooperation has succeeded in advancing development policy objectives and promoting positive changes in environmental conditions and the sustainable use of natural resources during 2010–2024. In addition to this synthesis report, the evaluation included four thematic sub-evaluations: forests, ecosystems and biodiversity; disaster risk reduction and meteorology; clean energy, circular economy and critical minerals; and water as a natural resource. Further, it assessed opportunities for private sector engagement within these sectors. The evaluation was commissioned by the Development Evaluation Unit of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
