Finland’s expo stand to feature innovations and invite cooperation

The theme of Finland’s expo stand at WCEF will be ‘Local Solutions Are Born Here’. The stand invites visitors to discover circular economy innovations and build cooperation with Finnish actors.

“We welcome everyone to our stand to learn about Finnish expertise and solutions. We are especially looking forward to meeting circular economy companies and projects attending WCEF to explore opportunities for cooperation,” says Anne Vasara, Finnish Ambassador for Circular Economy and Green Transition.

The stand will showcase circular business solutions, the role of the public sector in the circular economy transition, innovation ecosystems and the materials revolution.

Tools for circular economy transition

The elements for success in the circular economy and public-private partnerships are Finland’s topics at an Accelerator Session hosted by Nordic Circular Hotspot(Link to another website.) on Wednesday 17 April. The event will highlight circular economy expertise of the Nordic countries.

At the session, regions and companies will provide examples of innovative circular solutions that have been implemented in close cooperation between the public and private sectors.

“We will explain the formula for well-functioning innovation ecosystems at the session, so that other cities and regions could gain inspiration and access to tools for the circular economy transition in their area,” says Simo Karetie, Project Manager for Helsinki-Uusimaa Circular Valley.
