Unit for Human Rights Courts And Conventions
The Unit for Human Rights Courts and Conventions is responsible for:
- the development of human rights
- periodic reports and monitoring relating to the implementation of human rights conventions
- the representation of the Government of Finland before international judicial and investigative bodies examining human rights complaints, and other legal questions relating to these bodies
- the supervision of execution measures relating to human rights complaints
- the preparation of international human rights instruments and relevant national legislation
- the provision of expertise, advice and opinions on human rights law.
