KPO-40 Export Control Unit
The Export Control Unit is the national licensing authority for the export control of dual-use items. It grants authorisations for the export of these items in Finland. The Unit is also responsible for international export control cooperation, which has become increasingly important given the changes in geopolitics and technology.
The Export Control Unit is responsible for:
- export control and licensing for dual-use items;
- implementation of economic sanctions;
- international and EU cooperation on export control.
