Unit for Humanitarian Assistance

The Unit for Humanitarian Assistance is responsible for the following issues:

• planning of humanitarian assistance and decisions concerning granting of assistance
• monitoring of crises and follow-up of assistance activities
• humanitarian assistance via international aid organisations, and Finnish non-governmental organisations
• coordination of humanitarian assistance in the EU and the UN and with other donor countries
