Annual Meeting of Heads of Mission

The Annual Meeting of Heads on Mission is a three-day event for the heads of Finnish missions abroad, organised by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs at the end of August in Helsinki.

The themes of discussion include topical foreign policy questions and matters relating to international relations. The programme of the meeting includes also speeches by Finnish state leadership.

One of the days during the meeting is dedicated to Team Finland -related topics.

In 2020 and 2021, the meeting was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
