Unit for Arms Control

The Unit for Arms Control is responsible for matters relating to:

• arms control policy and general arms control matters
  
  
• multilateral disarmament and non-proliferation
  
  
• nuclear non-proliferation and the prohibition of chemical and biological weapons
  
  
• non-proliferation of small arms and other conventional weapons
  
  
• chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats and
  
  
• export control of defence materiel and defence materiel cooperation.
