Request to review personal data

You can make a request to verify that your data protection rights are being observed in our services. To access the service, use Finnish online banking codes, a mobile certificate or a certificate card.

Alternatively, you can submit a statutory request for information as a letter or e-mailing it to our registry (contact details below). If you want to send email to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, we advise you to use the Ministry's secure email service (https://secmail.formin.fi), which means that your message is encrypted and your personal data will not be compromised. You can also bring the letter in person to the Ritarikatu service point.

We respond to statutory requests for information sent to us, or brought to the registry, by sending a registered letter or alternatively you can collect the letter from the Ritarikatu service point or a Finnish diplomatic mission abroad.
