Markus Hippi appointed as Press Counsellor in London
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs has appointed Markus Hippi as Press Counsellor in London from 11 July 2023 to 31 July 2026.
Hippi comes to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs from Monocle where he has served as Executive Producer-Presenter.
He has worked at Monocle in the United Kingdom since 2011. Markus Hippi has also wide-ranging experience of the Finnish media sector. He has worked as presenter in the breakfast shows at MTV3 and YLE and as television news reporter and radio producer at YLE.
Hippi has studied communication and journalism. He holds the degree of Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Tampere.
