The National Dialogues Conference (NDC)
The first National Dialogues Conference was held in 2014. Since then, it has served as an important platform for sharing best practices in peace mediation, as well as a meeting place for those involved in different peace processes and dialogues.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Conference on National Dialogues and Non-Formal Dialogue Processes.
The Conference asks how dialogue processes can best be adapted to the current context affected by polycrisis. The Conference invites the participants to consider the role of national dialogues and non-formal dialogue processes in enhancing resilience, preventing and resolving conflict, and maintaining peace.
The National Dialogues Conference is organised by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, together with CMI – Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation (CMI), Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (Felm) and Finn Church Aid (FCA), and in cooperation with the Abilis Foundation. This year, CMI provides the secretariat for the Conference.
