Using logos in development cooperation
This page contains instructions on the use of different logos in development cooperation projects supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The instructions are accompanied by links to downloading the logos.
Communications abroad
Flag + Suomi Finland logo
The logo that combines the Finnish flag and the text `Suomi Finland´ is used in independent partners’ projects that are partially or wholly funded by the Ministry. It is used also in projects implemented together with the UN or other international partner organisations. Download the logo here.(Link to another website.)
Mission logo
In addition, a mission’s own logo may be used in FLC projects and events organised in host countries to highlight local partnership. Contact the embassies for logos.(Link to another website.)
Communications in Finland
Supported from Finland’s development cooperation funds
This logo is used especially in CSOs’ communications and development cooperation projects that are funded by the Ministry. In addition to Finnish, Swedish and English, the logos can be found in Spanish, French and Portuguese. Download the logos here.(Link to another website.)
Logo of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs

Other guidance
- Select file format (cmyk, rgb, etc.) according to use: printed products or digital use. Mediabank’s folder structure will guide your selection.
- Select vertical or horizontal format according to available space.
- Select colour according to background, and when using Foreign Service logos, according to size.
