EU Affairs Unit

EU Affairs Unit coordinates EU affairs in the Foreign Service and manages the ability to exert influence in the EU in cooperation with the departments. The Unit is responsible for the following matters:

1) coordination of important horizontal EU issues from the perspective of the EU's external action and international partnerships;

2) The EU'S Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP); and

3) participation in the EU coordination and advocacy work of the Finnish government
