You can use the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ service portal to ask about sanctions, apply for authorisations and report on sanctions. The European Commission’s Sanctions Helpdesk offers personalised assistance to companies performing sanctions due diligence checks.
Foreign Ministry’s Sanctions e-service
You can use the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ Sanctions e-service to ask about sanctions, submit a derogation application, report on the implementation of sanctions and report sanctions evasion.
Using the Sanctions e-service requires strong authentication in the Suomi.fi service.
European Commission’s Sanctions Helpdesk
The EU Sanctions Helpdesk provides personalised assistance to companies performing sanctions due diligence checks. Companies can ask questions about sanctions, for example about the prohibitions contained in the EU’s sanctions regulations and receive support for the planning and development of internal compliance programmes. The Helpdesk aims to respond to straightforward requests within five working days. Services are provided in English.
