Team Finland visit to Australia: IMARC 2026
The Team Finland network is organising a business delegation visit to Australia (Sydney) on 25-30 October 2026 in connection with IMARC 2026 and Mines & Money Sydney (co-located). The visit is led by the Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr Sakari Puisto.
25.–30.10.2026
Sydney, Australia
We are pleased to invite Finnish mining and related deep-tech companies to join a Team Finland visit to Australia in connection with IMARC 2026 and Mines and Money, to be held in Sydney, from 27 to 29 October 2026.
IMARC is Australia’s largest and most influential mining event, bringing together the global mining industry to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and drive meaningful discussion. 12,000 registered attendees from over 120 countries and 500 solution providers from around the world are waiting to network with you. The world-class program features five concurrent conferences covering the full mining value chain, with panel discussions and strategic keynote presentations. Participants gain insights from C-suite executives and industry leaders on operational excellence, technology and innovation, project development and delivery, investment, and global opportunities.
The timing could not be better. The upcoming EU–Australia Free Trade Agreement, Australia’s association with Horizon Europe, and the EU–Australia MOU on Sustainable Critical and Strategic Minerals together create an unprecedented window of opportunity, opening the door for Finnish companies to expand, innovate, and scale like never before.
Alongside IMARC, a wide range of side events hosted by local and international organisations (including the European Union)— such as networking sessions, industry gatherings, and launch announcements—offer even more opportunities to connect and learn. Mining Finland has secured a stand at IMARC, and we will collaborate where possible.
In 2026, Mines and Money, co-located with IMARC, will once again feature the Mines and Money Investment Theatre, a hub for investors and junior mining companies. Through Mining Spotlights, investors can hear junior miners present their projects and investment potential. The program will also feature expert commodity spotlights on precious metals, base metals, and critical and battery metals, alongside panel discussions on hot topics such as M&A, joint ventures, offtakes and partnership models.
