Foreign Minister Valtonen to attend informal meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs
Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will attend an informal meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Antalya in Türkiye on 14–15 May.

The foreign ministers’ informal meeting will focus on preparations for the upcoming NATO Summit in The Hague in June 2025.
Ministers will discuss the Summit priorities, including NATO’s support for Ukraine and making the Alliance stronger, fairer and more effective.
“NATO Allies are committed to taking significant steps to bolster their defence capabilities and make the Alliance’s deterrence stronger. Russia poses a long-term threat to the Alliance. We will continue our efforts towards a just and lasting peace in Ukraine,” Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said.
The Foreign Minister will have bilateral talks in connection with the meeting.
