Ambassador Himanen provided background information about child welfare in Finland for the Russian media
Ambassador Hannu Himanen of the Embassy of Finland in Moscow held a press conference on Friday, 12 October in the premises of RIA Novosti, Russia’s leading news agency. Ambassador Himanen clarified child welfare in Finland for the Russian media and corrected the unfounded claims made in the Russian media. At the beginning of the press conference, the ambassador gave a prepared speech in Russian, after which he answered journalists’ questions. The press conference lasted more than an hour.
