Circular Note, 29 December 2025; New Deputy Chief of Protocol

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland present their compliments to the Diplomatic Missions accredited to Helsinki and have the honour to inform of the following upcoming change in the Protocol Services:

The Deputy Chief of Protocol, Mr. Christian Lindholm will relinquish his position on 31 December 2025 to assume new duties in the Embassy of Finland, Lisbon on 1 January 2026. Mr. Lindholm will be succeeded by Ms. Marja Joenusva, who will commence her assignment on 12 January 2026. Mr. Lindholm wishes to convey his heartfelt gratitude to the Diplomatic Missions for the excellent cooperation enjoyed during his tenure in the Protocol Services.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Protocol Services, avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Diplomatic Missions accredited to Helsinki the assurance of their highest consideration.
