Circular Note, 15 June 2026: Temporary changes affecting the services provided by the Chancery of the Protocol Services

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs present their compliments to the Diplomatic Missions, Consular Posts and International Organizations accredited to Finland and wish to inform of the following temporary changes affecting the services provided by the Chancery of the Protocol Services:

During the summer period the normal service capacity of the Chancery will be temporarily affected due to holiday schedules and ongoing personnel transitions.

As a result, response time and processing may be significantly slower than usual. The Chancery is doing its best to maintain high level service despite these temporary constraints.

Therefore, the Chancery kindly asks for understanding and patience of its clients during this challenging time of the year.  Cooperation is greatly appreciated, and the Chancery remains committed to supporting all its clients throughout the summer, though with limited resources.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Diplomatic Missions, Consular Posts and International Organizations accredited to Finland the assurances of their highest consideration.
