Circular Note, 11 September 2026: Changes in the Protocol Services

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs present their compliments to the Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations accredited to Helsinki and have the honour to inform of the following changes in the Protocol Services:

Deputy Chief of Protocol Ms Marja Joenusva has relinquished her position on 31 August 2026 and her successor Ms Nicola Lindertz has taken over her duties as the new Deputy Director General as of 1st of September 2026.

Also please be informed that Ms Sofia Holmström is the new Executive Secretary assisting both the Chief of Protocol and the Deputy Director General.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations accredited to Helsinki the assurances of their highest consideration.
