Unit for Communications Development and Services
The Unit for Communications Development and Services is responsible for supporting the missions in communications and country branding work and for providing comments on the missions’ country branding projects and appropriations on an annual basis. The unit is responsible for practical arrangements for visits by foreign journalists and influencers. The unit develops and manages the Foreign Service’s online communications and social media channels. The unit is responsible for the Foreign Service’s visual identity and for the Ministry’s graphics support and audiovisual production.
The Unit for Communications Development and Services comprises the following teams:
- Missions Support and Media Visits
- Digital and Visual Communications.
The main duties of the Unit for Communications Development and Services are:
- support and guidance for the communications and country branding work of missions
- planning of and practical arrangements for visits by foreign journalists and influencers
- development and administration of the Foreign Service’s online communications tools and social media channels
- maintenance and development of the Foreign Service’s visual identity
- the Foreign Service’s graphics support and audiovisual production.
