OSCE: EU Statement on the Project Coordinator's Office in Uzbekistan

Concerning the ongoing negotiations on the Memorandum of Understanding of the OSCE Project Coordinator's Office in Uzbekistan, the EU expresses its strong support to the Secretary General’s efforts to reach a positive outcome.
 
We call on the Government of Uzbekistan to take all necessary steps to ensure the functioning of the Project Coordinator’s Office in accordance with OSCE norms and practices.

The Acceding Countries Bulgaria and Romania, the Candidate Countries Turkey, Croatia   and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the Countries of the Stabilisation and Association Process and potential candidates Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, EFTA country  Iceland, member of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova align themselves with this statement.
