Peer Review of Finland’s Development Policy and Development Cooperation in 2012

The Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) reviews and assesses each member’s development cooperation system every four to five years. The Peer Review makes recommendations for improvement and a follow-up process ensures that lessons are translated into policies, programmes and practices in the DAC member country.

The Peer Review team consists of 1-2 representatives from two DAC member countries, 2-3 Secretariat staff members and a humanitarian assistance expert. The examiners of Finland were Austria and Switzerland.
