Human Resources Equality Plan 2024–2025
Concrete measures have been taken to advance the previous objectives of the Equality Plan, and their implementation has progressed. At the same time, the objectives require continuous action, and the efforts are ongoing. The achievement of the objectives is described by, for example, gender equality statistics and the results of the equality survey. In addition to this, the annual results of job satisfaction barometers can also be used to track the experiences of staff in relation to equality and non-discrimination. The improved results of the job satisfaction barometers of recent years indicate an overall increase in job satisfaction and positive developments in the management and work community culture of the Foreign Service. The updated plan focuses on measures that are considered to be particularly necessary at the moment. The objectives of the plan are as follows. 1. Strengthen the employee experience of equality and non-discrimination. 2. Promote work-life balance. 3. Strengthen wellbeing at work and prevent inappropriate treatment and harassment in all work communities. 4. Promote diversity in workplaces and support diversity management.
