UN Post-conflict Multi-Partner Trust Fund for Colombia


The UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund was established in 2016 to contribute to the implementation of the Peace Agreement signed between the Colombian state and the FARC. The funding (86 MUSD) for the first phase was provided by the UN and eleven governments. The second phase of the Fund was approved in December 2018 focusing on peacebuilding and sustainable development with regard to the priorities of the National Development Plan. The main thematic areas are stabilization in the most affected areas by the conflict, reintegration of former combatants, victims and transitional justice and communication. The Finnish contribution to the Fund in 2019 is 150 000 EUR.
