ADD Planning Funds 2023

The Addis Ababa embassy's planning funds are used to support the country program, such as planning and monitoring of projects, the preparation and updating of related documentation, supporting the Donor Partnership Group in Ethiopia, and training related to development cooperation, organizing of workshops, meetings and events, and monitoring of regional cooperation. The planning funds are used for the development cooperation between Finland and Ethiopia and to support Ethiopia's development. This is ensured by allocating the use of planning appropriations mainly to implementing and updating the development cooperation country program for Ethiopia, preparing projects, evaluating and monitoring, as well as improving quality and effectiveness, training, and organizing events relevant to cooperation. The Embassy in Addis Ababa has budgeted 60,000 euros for planning funds from the 2023 appropriations.
