The purpose of the planning funds for Ethiopia is to ensure necessary resources for planning, monitoring and evaluation of the development cooperation projects. The planning funds are needed to implement high quality development projects that produce results. The objectives of the cooperation are based on Finland's Country Strategy for Ethiopia and Programme for Development Cooperation in Ethiopia. The sectors of the development cooperation include WASH (Water, sanitation and Hygiene), education and rural economic cooperation. The proposed planning funds are 290,000 euros.
