Description
The aim of the project is to support the development of an aviation know-how and related vocational training in Africa and integrating Kt-Shelter-offering in the CoE. Tredu also supports KT-Shelter's establishment in Namibia / Africa through training. These are planned in parallel FP and DevPlat business projects (KT-Shelter Oy 2021-10-29-000o9eqd and BF / Devplat partners). The training and certification in this field projects are defined by the authorities and the industry regulator (Namibia Civil Aviation Authority and ICAO). The goal of the project is to support the creation of a Center of Excellence for African Aviation, based in Namibia. The main goal is to support providing commercial based training, education and expertise related to sustainable civil aviation in Africa by the joint venture CoE. The actions in the support project help the main goal achievement. Namibian Government is prioritizing a Southern Town Keetmanshoop aerodrome with its infrastructure and former Namibia Aviation Training Academy NATA to be the focal site for the Centre of Excellence. This project also will be is a part opf Business Finland/DevPlat project ecosystem of R&D towards integrating and digitalizing the diciplines and knowledge of the AiRRhow Alliance companies and institutions.
