External Review and Evaluation of forestry programmes in Tanzania, ERET

The purpose of this External Review and Evaluation of forest projects in Tanzania (ERET) is external review and evaluation of the Participatory Plantation Forestry Programme (PFP) phase 2, Forestry and Value Chain Development Programme (FORVAC) and Tree Outgrowers Support Programme (TOSP). It aims to facilitate constant learning within and between the three programmes, and is also part of their risk management. During the years 2021-2023, annual reviews of the programmes and mid-term evaluations of PFP2 and FORVAC are carried out and a synthesis report prepared in the end of the programme. During the year 2022 ERET prepared an additional analysis besides the yearly round of evaluations. Therefore, an additional budget of 83 789 euros is needed in order to be able to carry out the evaluation activities planned for the year 2023.
