Humanitarian assistance monitoring visits and advocacy
Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland uses 50 000 euros to humanitarian assistance monitoring visits and advocacy. In order to monitor the delivery and effectiveness of humanitarian assistance, the Unit for Humanitarian Assistance and Policy KEO-70 organizes monitoring visits, maintains active dialogue with humanitarian organizations (incl. visits to the Headquarters) and exchanges information and experiences with other donors and stakeholders. KEO-70 plans to conduct 15 monitoring and advocacy visits in 2022. The funds allocated for monitoring visits and advocacy will be used also to relevant training, planning and external studies. These activities are especially relevant in 2022 as Finland co-chairs the Good Humanitarian Donorship group in 2021-23.
