Humanitarian aid; support to WFP operations in Yemen 2019

Over 80 % of the population in Yemen is in need of humanitarian assistance. Yemen is facing the world's largest food security crisis and 24 million people require humanitarian aid. Over 18 million people are food insecure or malnourished, of whome 8.4 million acutely so. UN humanitarian appeal for Yemen is 4 billion USD for 2019 - 35 % increase from 2018. WFP needs 1,5 billion USD for the year 2019.
