The National Committee coordinates the Women, Peace and Security 1325 Network consisting of non-governmental organizations and independent researches as well as experts that work for the promotion of human rights and equality. Finland National Committee for UN Women applies the organisational support for the general activities as well development communication. In 2019 the main topic will be innovations and technology for gender equality and in 2020 gender equality in media (Declaration and action-plan of Beijing 25 years).
