Higher Education Institutions - Institutional Cooperation Programme 2020-24
Description
The long-term objective of the HEI ICI programme is to strengthen the performance of higher education institutions in the global south and to support their ability to provide well-functioning and accessible education for the students. This aim will be reached through building competences based on local and national development needs. Finnish and partner country higher education institutions are encouraged to established projects where the capacity building covers some of the following topics: administrative and discipline related capacities, course curriculum and learning materials, methodological and pedagogical skills, quality assurance mechanisms, international linkages. Finnish and partner country universities are encouraged to establish thematic cooperation involving several universities and other partners in a project. Beneficiaries are the students and teachers in Southern higher education institutions who will benefit for improved quality of teaching, access on information and services.
