Finland's core contribution to UNRWA in 2019-2022, a total of 20 million euros (5 million euros annually). UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) is a humanitarian agency that provides basic services and protection for about 5.4 million Palestine refugees in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Humanitarian situation in the area has either deteriorated or remains challenging.
