Strengthening of impact of multilateral development cooperation

Strengthening of impact of multilateral development cooperation, with specific focus on the UN Reforms is one of the key functions and tasks of the Unit for Sustainable Development and Climate Policy. The funds will be used to analyse and participate in the work of the boards, directorates and ad-hoc meetings of UN bodies and organisations (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UN Women etc.) and their operations and impact in developing countries. The funds enable the Unit and MFA experts to adequately participate in this work and the corresponding international meetings together with the like minded countries, and to support civil society organisations participation in them.
