Research, advisory services for the strenghtening of the HRBA in private sector support
Description
Consultancy and research services are provided by Shift (Shift ltd), the leading Centre of Expertise on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The aim is to strengthen the human rights bases approach of private sector instruments and programs supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and or other public funding. The project involves the procurement of expert services (consultancy and research services) in human rights and business, including training for all stakeholders, and tailor-made support services for each of the private sector instruments to strengthen human rights (Beam / Business Finland, Finnpartnership, PIF, Finnfund and Finnvera). In addition, training, tools / surveys are being produced to support companies and the Finnish Government in their efforts on human rights due diligence, human rights training and reporting. Further, Finland supports the "Valuing Respect" project, to enhance measuring of campanies human rights impacts. The value of the procurement is 558,600 €. The contract period is 3 years from 2019 to 2021.
