West Bank Protection Consortium
Description
The West Bank Protection Consortium is a programme supported by ECHO, ten EU countries and Great Britain. It provides humanitarian protection, stengthens the development conditions for Palestinian communities in Area C and aims to influence underlying causes of vulnerability and strengthen the accountability of duty bearers. Evaluations of the programme have confirmed the effectiveness of the programme and that the operating model has been efficient. The programme is implemented by the Norwegian Refugee Council and four other international humanitarian organisations. Finland's funding is 1.5 million euros for 2022-2024 and it will be channelled through ECHO (European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operation).
