Humanitarian assistance monitoring visits and advocacy

In order to monitor the delivery and effectiveness of humanitarian assistance, the Unit for Humanitarian Assistance and Policy KEO-70 participates in monitoring visits organized by UN Agencies and International and Finnish non-governmental organizations, maintains active dialogue with the organizations (incl. visits to the Headquarters) and exchanges information and experiences with other donors and the United Nations. The funds allocated for monitoring visits and advocacy will be used also to relevant training, planning and external studies. KEO-70 plans to conduct 15 monitoring and advocacy visits in 2020.
