FCA: Mideeye, Support of the National Reconciliation and Local Governance in Somalia

Inclusive decision-making processes and trust towards the government institutions are necessery when building a stable and peaceful Somalia. Finn Church Aid (FCA) in partnership with the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers is implementing a Mideeye project. The project works for a more stable and peaceful Somalia, recognizing that genuine national reconciliation and inclusive governance are two reinforcing and interrelated processes, crucial for peace and state building. FCA and the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers have been active in mediation and local-level democratization and institution building in Somalia for several years.
