Ministry for Foreign Affairs will provide 400 000 euros for the Finnish Red Cross (FRC) for supporting the COVID-19-operation of the Italian Red Cross. Contribution will be channeled through the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) COVID-19 global emergency appeal. Within the health sector, the work includes preventing the spread of the epidemic, detection, and response, Risk Communication and Community Engagement and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. The Finnish Red Cross (FRC) supports the operation with financial support. tn addition material aid as well as technical expertise through delegates is considered as part of this funding.
