Voluntary core contribution to UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. UN Women promotes gender equality and ending discrimination against women and girls as well as strengthening the situation, opportunities and rights of women and girls globally. The focus of the organisation is in gender equality, good governance and human rights based approach. The triple mandate of UN Women is unique, because the organisation does normative work, Unites Nations system wide gender equality coordination as well as traditional development agency program work.
