The Nordic Development Fund-NDF manages the EEP for the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the countries of Southern and East Africa (15 countries). The fund is a continuation of the EEP phases 1 and 2 initiated by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 2010. EEP is one of the largest climate change interventions in Finland.
