Description

The Nordic Development Fund-NDF manages the EEP for the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the countries of Southern and East Africa (15 countries). The fund is a continuation of the EEP phases 1 and 2 initiated by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 2010. EEP is one of the largest climate change interventions in Finland. The aim of the Fund's Impact level is to support the achievement of the SDGs, notably in order to achieve SDGt 1, 5.7, 8, and 13. Finland's total funding is EUR 15 million. Million in 2018-2022.
