Description
The purpose of the project is to increase professional practice in addressing gender based violence in peace building processes with geographic focus on West Africa. The study will analyse the obstacles related to advancement of these questions during peace negotiations and the post-conflict phase. Comparative policy oriented case studies in other West African countries.2)Bringing the case study to dialogue with ECOWAS (Economic Community Of West African States) and formulating recommendations on mainstreaming practice in addressing gender based violence in peace processes.
