In November 2013 a total of 629 462 euros are granted to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' humanitarian aid operations in the Philippines because of the typhoon Haiyan. Humanitarian assistance to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' operations is channelled through Finnish Red Cross. Support will be used to relief material according to Mobilisation Table of Federation. Part of the assistance will be channelled through the Federation appeal as a cash transfer to support distribution and other activities of the appeal.
