Humanitarian food assistance to Syria/WFP

13,5 million people in Syria are in need of humanitarian assistance. The UN appeal for 2016 for Syria and the neighboring countries is 7,73 billion USD of which inside the country 3,18 billion USD. The WFP appeal for 2016 for Syria and the neighboring countries is over 1,1 billion USD. WFP needs inside the country are 660 million USD. WFP's assistance reaches about 4 million people in need every month inside the country. There are 8,7 million people in need for food assistance inside the country.
