HAUS/Modern Leadership and Capacity Building in Public Sector (PADOS II) in EU Eastern Partnership Countries

The project Participatory democracy, open governance and efficient e-government services (PADOS) was implemented in the six EU Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine) by HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management Ltd.The project strengthened capacity of the EaP countries in open governance, E-governance and public management. The project was managed by HAUS 2015-2016 and its budget was 498.600 Euro. In the second phase of the project in 2017-2018 PADOS II will concentrate on modern leadership development, especially leading the changes and effective implementation of strategies.The participants’ capacity will also be enhanced in the sphere of digitalisation as a challenge for leaders, evidence based leadership, quality management and ethical and efficient leadership. Capacity building events will be targeted to civil servants responsible for public administration reforms in central and regional level. Budget will be 100.000 euros.
