Sustainable consumption and production

At the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) in June 2012, countries agreed to adopt the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (10YFP). SCP aims to do “more and better with less,” by reducing resource use, degradation and pollution along the life cycle of goods and services, while increasing the quality of life for all. 10YFP is administered by UNEP. Finland will be providing a contribution to support the implementation of the programme. The Finnish funding 300 00 euros will be directed through the 10YFP trust fund managed by UNEP to be used in ODA eligable countries.
