Rights, responsibilities and resources - preserving nature for the well-being of future generations The programmatic compoments under the partnership are divided into: 1. Programme compoments delivered by the WWF partenr organizations and WWF partner programmes in the Global South; 2. Programme components undertaken by WWF Finland office and mainly also delivered in Finland but in strong and constant cooperation with partner countries. These programme components are so-called thematic components and include a. ecological footprint b. environmental education c. communication d. illegal wildlife trade The programme components in selected target areas include three geographic regions: 1) Coastal East Africa 2) the Himalayas 3) Borneo The issues that the programme will focus on, called work areas, are: a) Sustainable natural resouce management and biodiversity conservation b) Climate change mitigation and adaptation c) Ecological footprint d) Strenghtening civil cociety e) Reducing poverty and inequality f) Species conservation g) Green economy h) Illegal wildlife trade i) fisheries
