ICRC has launched a flash appeal on 14th of March 2014 for Ukraine. Appeal is 3 500 000 CHF. Finnish Red Cross applies a grant for 500 000 euros to support the operation in Ukraine. The aim is to support the activities of the Red Cross of Ukraine by enhacing the capacity of the first aid, psychosocial support and maintaining the family ties. The information unit will be established. In addtion the ICRC's own capacity will be strengthend. ICRC is working with the all parties to spread the information about humanitarian principles and access to health care facilities. Ministry finances 500 000 euros to the operation of ICRC in Ukraine.
