Multilateral Organisation Performance Assessment Network MOPAN was created in 2002 as a network of donor countries with a common interest to monitor and assess the work and performance of Multilateral Organisations (MOs). The network conducts and publishes assessments of selected multilateral organisations. In 2015-2016 the Network assesses 12 multilateral organisations: African Development Bank, Gavi - The Vaccine Alliance, Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), International Labour Organization (ILO), Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UN Aids), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN Habitat), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA), World Bank. These organisations will be assessed at the headquarters level and in a total of up to 16 countries. The organisations selected for the cycle 2017-18 will be: ADB, FAO, GEF, GPE, IFAD, IOM, OHCHR, UN Women, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNRWA, WFP, WHO. The OECD is hosting the independent MOPAN Secretariat and the arrangement has been renewed for the period 2016-2019. The network is financed by the members (18) in equal share, EUR 110 000/year.
